2250 for maintenance, therefore that's 1750 cutting (urgh) or 2500 lean bulk / 2750 full bulk.

    Currently cutting

I'm 5'8" 193lbs about 16-17% body fat. I'm getting about 1900 a day for cutting(about a 20% deficit), 40% protein, 40% carbs, 20% fat. I lift heavy 5 days a week for about an hour at a time. It's hard to completely judge what you need based off others without knowing exactly what shape they are in and where they are at in their journey.

The calculators built into MYF are the best in my opinion and its also helps you balance fat, carb and protein. Punch in these percentages:
    Fat: 30%
Protein: 15% (Yup, that's all you need)
    Carbohydrates 55%

I need 3,400 for gain. I set my activity level to 'very active' since there is no option to gain more than 1lb a week.

Currently bulking at 2,400 but I always eat a few hundred less by the end of the day. My maintenance would be around 2,365 based on http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/#results. Am I doing it wrong?

Currently maintaining on in or around 3,100 calories. Bulked at 4,000. Not sure what my "cutting" calories would be. @Hornsby if you maintain on 3,600, what calories do you bulk on?

@CasperNaegle if you are referring to me and to the bulking calories, it was. Was my first bulk and was coming from a very low weight. Ended up adding 15kg on. I seem to lose if I go below 3,000 calories so in or around 3,100 is the calories I maintain at.

I bet you push start trains for work!!!
Regardless you found what works for YOU and that puts you in the driver's seat and not a passenger!!! Very interesting thread - clearly illustrates the reality that Human variability is such that nutrition is more ART than SCIENCE!
Puts an end to the dogma - one size fits all!!!

About 2850 to gain according to MFP. It's 15:50 and I'm not even close :(

I'm walking an average of 8km a day at work and I even have 5 aside soccer tonight. Must be why I am so skinny.

I'm 33 and that's where I'm at I can put back 10000 or more when I'm trying to gain weight 6000 to 7000 on a regular day. All because of my activity level and metabolism. The way I eat I should be huge but not no where near. Two days of not putting that many calories in and it starts me losing weight.

My trainer is on 4500-5500 to gain.

I am 5'5" 125lbs and to gain I need 2,000 - 2,200 minimum, but it is not an exact science. I lift 4-5x per week plus a little bit of cardio. I tend to go through mini bulk-cut cycles as I put on a kilo or two, freak out and hold where I am or mini cut, then build up comfort with my new weight and do another increase in calories. Considering I used to be under 100lbs, it has taken quite a while to get where I am.

4-6000. Ultra marathoner, power lifter. After a 25+ mile run, I will still loose on 6000. But I physically can't eat more. Usually. On non running days, I can maintain on 4000ish.
