Hi my name is Maris and I'm 16 yrs old some of you may be wondering why a girl this age is using this app. Well you see I want to lose weight and I always had a weight problem since the 4th grade until now. I was the "fluffier" girl in my grade and I was bullied for it. It lead to depression and I went to starving myself until it came to the point where my clothes didn't fit me anymore and I was proud until the 8th grade I found out that was bad I tried to stop but I couldn't. I got back on track and began eating regularly but gained the weight right back and I realized that it was time to lose weight the healthy way and I was not going to repeat what i did in middle school. So currently I'm at 179 and I want to be at 130 again so if anyone knows some good exercises please tell me cause lord knows I need it

    Wishing you the best on your health journey. No judgement on your age, everyone has a struggle. I'm much older than you but I've moved up and down and sideways on the scale and what I've learned is that you should worry more about a healthy life style then a number on the scale. I'm thick, always have been even when I'm a size small and size 6 however I weighted much more then what you would think for someone that size. Be active, eat healthy, and treat yourself within reason and without judgement. You'll do great! Best wishes!

    It's good to set goals :) if you are really ready for a change start small even if it's drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water everyday then a couple days later add in more veggies couple days later cutting out fast food restaurants and keep going until everything is a habit for you :) pick another goal on what you want your body to look like say your goal is to want to look like someone that does calenstetics then research on that and work on those moves :) but small changes make big changes so don't ever give up on yourself you can do it !!
