Do You Have To Meet Your Calorie Goal Or Is It Ok To Be Under?

    It's okay to go under ONCE IN A WHILE but you should really aim to hit your calorie goal.

    Depends on how far under. If your goal is 1400 and you're consuming like, 800 calories a day...that's no good. If your goal is 1400 and you consume 1382 calories...that's fine.

    Within a couple hundred is probably ok. Sometimes if you've earned a lot of extra calories from doing a lot of exercise and you're simply not hungry by bedtime, I don't think it's a big deal. It will even out the next day.

    I try to stay within my daily caloric count but some days i may go over a few or be under a few. If its exercise calories i generally like to avoid eating those, afterall i worked out so i could lose faster!.
  • I didn't realise unitl I joined here that it did matter if you went under your calories. Apart from it obviousy being unhealthy, it just makes it more difficult to lose weight. Plus not having enough to eat makes me cranky lol.
