I started with my heaviest weight at 203. I had a baby 9 months ago, and finally had enough of the fat 7 weeks ago. I am offcially done to 179 as of today, in 7 weeks! My goal is to be 155 by my daughters first birthday, at the end of September. Does that sound like a realistic goal? I'd like to get back down to 130-140 again for my final goal, hopefully by January. Just had to share my exctitement

From my experience and reading the experience of others, weight loss does slow down the father you get into it. That being said, if you are diligent about sticking to your program and putting the effort in, I don't see any reason that you couldn't reach your goal. Stay strong and work hard! Good Luck! And awesome work so far!0

Great Job! What did you do to lose that much in 7 wks?0

Great job! I have found that the weight comes off fast in the beginning. It will slow down, but just keep ramping up the intensity and you'll do great!0

So how did you lose so much in 7 weeks? Keep that up and you should absolutely reach your goal. I am curious how tall are you? I am trying to decide on a goal weight for me. I am 5'9".
Keep up the good work and please share!!!0 -
i used to weight 240. now im 170. it took a long time, but during all that time, i figured out how to control the ratio a little as to not lose too much muscle with the fat and water. The most important thing is that you give yourself exactly the calories you need. The weight will never come off as easy as the first 10 lbs going from an inactive to an active person, but you generally control the speed of the weight loss by eating the right kinds of calories and subtracting the right amount. i lb of fat i think is 3500 cals, so go from there, aiming to lose 1 or 2 of those a week.0

I have always been able to lose weigh pretty good, and fast, it's just getting myself started thats the hardest. I have walked 7 days a week, about 4 miles a day. Calorie counting/restricting. I am also a single mom chasing around a 9 month old. I am breastfeeding, althought that alone did not help me lose weight. My supply has gone way down since the weight loss as well I also swim laps when I get the chance, and do strengthing excercises when I can fit them in. I was around 140 prior to pregnant, but I was a cheerleading my whole life. I think my body just knows it is not meant to be this big. Grilled chicken, egg whites, tuna and water are my best friends. We are also doing a Biggest Loser competition at my work, so that is added motivation to beat everyone, and so far I am!0

I am only 5'4". A healthy weight for my height is like 120. My body can not go under 125, and thats with starving and insane work outs. Prior to having a child.0

24 pounds in 7 weeks is huge, my guess is the weight loss will begin to slow down BUt if you keep it up you should be able to get there my september. Im trying to get to my goal weigh in september too! I started when my son was 7 months old at 181, im down to 157 now but have hit a plateau,,, such a bummer!! My goalis 125, same situation i can never see to get below 125 ! What are you doing when you work out? Have you tried strength training? Too much cardio can burn your muscle not fat if your not careful...with that said good luck!!!0
