I'm 5'3...my ultimate goal is 130 - whatever it takes me to reach my goal. I have a wedding in June 2012 to attend and I want to look my best.0

I'm 5'3" , small boned, and 42 yrs young. I reached my goal of 110 lbs and 15% bf. Don't always settle for a certain weight. Body fat is more important.0

After starting out at about 172........my goal is 140. I'd love to be 130.....but I'm not sure that is realistic for me. I haven't been below 150 since college..........and I've had two kids. I also have to take into consideration the fact that I am building muscle. I am more toned than I can ever remember being. I have clothes that I haven't been able to wear in YEARS. And I'm down clothing sizes....from a snug 14 to an easy 10!!!! It keeps me motivated:)0

Mine is 120, which I hit last week. I'm now trying to figure out how to maintain while continuing to tone and hopefully build some muscle - not too much though.0

I'm just about 5'3" ~ I'm very happy at 122-125 lbs, but I'm shooting for 117-119 lbs, just to do it. I've got good sized bone structure, so 120-125 lbs is fairly small for me, and will probably be where I settle, after I win a bet!:happy:0

I am 5 3 and have been everywhere from 120 to 184 (pregnant) I find it hard to maintaine at 120 so my current goal is 135 and then we will see what I look and feel like....might make my final 130. Once I get under 130 I get all teh too skinny comments lol0

I'm also 5'3" and my ultimate goal is 120. I got down to 124 last fall and unfortunately gained it back but I think 120 will be great for me.0

Im 5'3" and my goal is 135 anything under is a bonus!!!!0

I was 144 (10st 4lb) when I started MFP which is literally just on the cusp of being unacceptable for my height of 5 ft 3.5
126 is my ultimate goal (as that is 9 stone exactly in UK numbers!)
My first goal was to get into the 130s which I have now done- I think I have lost more that it says below as haven't logged my weight for a few weeks- hopefully by Fri I will be 135 ish.
I am hoping by Aug I will have reached 133 which was my weight on my wedding day 2 years ago. Once I reach that goal I am just hoping that slowly but surely I will get down to 126- doing it by Sept would be a bonus but I doubt it wil happen that quickly as it gets harder as you get closer to your ideal weight.0 -
Hi I'm 5ft 2.5 and my goal is 119 pounds. Currently at 129 so 10 to go!0

I'm 5'3" and my goal is 115 lbs. I'm currently at about 145 and the lightest I've been as an adult is 135. I weighed 154 three weeks ago and I look exactly the same. It's crazy - the physical changes are really subtle between 135 and 154. Probably because I've always stayed in shape but my diet habits change like crazy. This was me at 135 lbs.

I'm 5'3", middle-aged. Now, my long-term goal is lose weight to be able to maintain my weight under 140 lbs. If you are in a healthy weight range, toned, getting enough rest (not easy for moms of young kids, I remember) and providing a healthy lifestyle for you and your family, that's really the ultimate goal. Anything else is "fine tuning".0

I'm 5'3, my primary goal is 150, anything more than that is just icing on the... hmm, never mind. I would like to get below that, but I am not sure where I will feel comfortable (I haven't ever been thin so that weight is completely new territory), so I am just going to wing it if I ever get down there. I seem to keep hitting the 30 lb wall. As soon as I lose 30 lbs I seem to get into a funk and gain half of it back. I am suffering through that again and just returned to MFP. Hoping this time it will stick.0

I would LOVE to be able to see 115-120 lbs and maintain it!0

5'3" here. When I was in college, I thought 135 was SO big. HA! I would love to be that again, so I am putting 135 as a realistic goal, and if I reach that, I will see if I can push myself further!
Good luck to everyone with your individual goals!!0 -
I'm 5'3" and my current goal is 140. I plan to get around the 150 mark and decide if I want to keep the 140 goal, stay more around 150, or shoot for something more in line with what the BMI states is appropriate. (although I mostly think the BMI scale is a poor measure on it's own.)
The last time I weighed 140lbs I was 15 and had just given birth to my daughter. Let's just say the last 15 years have been a helluva ride, and I'd really like to get back to a healthy size. Because I was so young, and 15 years is a long freaking time, I just don't know what my body size really should be. My lowest weight since that time was about 165, which felt like I was too big, but was way better than where I am now (213lbs.)0 -
Currently i'm 140lbs
the lowest I've been is 126lbs and that was only in March [I've really fallen off the wagon ] .
I'm getting back into that losing weight mindset though, I shouldn't of slipped really but I did and I only have myself to blame for that.
I'd like to get down to 119-122lbs, I much prefered my body at 126lbs to 140lbs but I still wasn't happy with it.0 -
I'm 5'3 and my weight is 135 and my goal is 115.0

5'4" original goal 130, but I got down to 124 and love that, but now back up to 130 so working hard again to get back down!0

I'm 5' 2" - my goal is 125.0

I'm 5'4" and my goal is 120, maybe a little less.
A few months ago I completed The Master Cleanse and was 122 pounds for about a day (for those who are curious I started the detox at 132, dropped to 122 in 10 days, then bounced back to 128) I was happy to lose about 4 pounds overall and my body feels so efficient but I felt incredible in the low 120's. This has been a long journey for me (my highest was about 150 two years ago) and these days I feel so much more confident.
I think us short ladies have it tough when we are so little to begin with (and every pound shows that much more) but we can do it! Something about the best things and small packages??0
