I am on a ketogenic diet which is basically primal. They are pretty complimentary WoEs. I am afraid I don't log it much anymore though.
Consider joining the Low Carber Daily. There are quite a few more in there. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group

I eat keto, with an emphasis on primal/"clean" foods! Lots of eggs, sugar free bacon, homemade buffalo chicken wings with kerrygold butter and Frank's. Yum!

    Keto question...

If my Daily intake is - 2000 calorie, 113 grams Protein, 25 grams Carb, and 161 gram fat, what happens if I come up short on intake.
I would like to officially start Keto on Wednesday so I've been 'testing' myself to see how I would handle it. For the past 5 days I have been able to hit my marks, but coming up short on caloric intake and fat.

Do I need to hit all these levels for Ketosis or can I come in under? I am doing this to lose weight and also understand that too few calories can slow metabolism.
    any input is appreciated

I'm of the mindset you don't have to reach your fat intake. I try to meet my protein macro (helps retain muscle), stay under on my carbs macro, and add healthy fat to my meals or snacks until I'm satisfied. Once you are satisfied you don't have to add fat to meet a goal. The idea is to let your body burn your body fat instead.

Implementing this has helped me lose weight.

**my diary is open. don't look at this weekend as I've been on vacation at a festivsl so it's not normal eating for me. You can look further back.
