Need some help with keeping my carbs up and my salt down

At my doctors advice I was asked to lower my salt intake to help with my blood pressure, that seems an easy task to do so I lowered my intake down to 1500 per day and I'm now finding it almost impossible to complete my required calorie intake and keep my salt low. I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

  • I have the same issue, even if I keep the calories down by eating all my junk at lunch (since I am forced to get fast food every day) I max out and go over my carbs, salts and saturated fats.

    The only way I am able to control this is by cooking at home.....chicken, vegtables

    I find keeping strawberries and watermelon (my favorites) around - lazy style - already cut up from the supermarket is just about the only thing that gets me through the weekend without destroying my whole week
