Does waist trainers help you lose weight or does it just make you look like you lost weight?

I don't know what exactly a "waist trainer" is, but I am guessing it is an illusion. The best way to lose weight is eat right and exercise.1

Waist trainers don't do anything to help you lose weight. All they do is squish your internal organs into horrible positions and make you generally uncomfortable.1

PEOPLE STOP WITH THE WAIST TRAINERS. Seriously though don't waste your money all it does is squish your insides together the fat doesn't go anywhere by trying to suffocate it.4

Yay! A waist trainers thread. Not had one of those in, ooooh at least two weeks.
Waste of money. Try CICO plus a pair of Spanx for special occasions instead.1 -

CICO is Calories in ><Calories out, it is the driving force of this website. Eat more than you burn: Gain weight, Eat less than you burn: Lose weight, Eat the same amount you burn: Maintain weight.
And do not get a waist trainer and definitely do not exercise in one...remember in the 1800's when women were fainting all over the place and having birth complications all the time? Yeah a lot of that had to do with wearing corsets to keep their waists tiny even during advanced pregnancy. Very dangerous and not helpful at all. Do the work and you'll get there OP. Good luck!0 -

Calories in, calories out. Eat a little less, move a little more.0 -

Waist trainers do not cause people to lose weight.
There are no short cuts. There is no easy way out. If you want this, you'll have to work for it.
Waist trainers, diet pills, mlm shakes are all just gimmicks.1 -
Didn't waist trainers go out of style in like the 19th century?1
