    We have certainly proven that MFP spans the globe! I live in New York....but not THAT NY....not the one with the C on the end!

    @Claireraymond003, we all think other places are more exotic or interesting than where we live. How about a challenge? What is one thing you would show or do with a friend if they came to visit your town?

    For example, I might have you visit a local sustainable, organic dairy farm (want to try milking a cow?) While visiting, we might go pick some heirloom apples or maybe get some fresh eggs. And then we can take a look around the farm store for some hand-crafted, honey-sweetened chocolates, hand-thrown pots and goat butter soaps. (FYI...this farm is a one-man operation, family-owned and operated. Nothing like the huge corporate farms that can be found further west!) At least after your visit here, you would know that NY is more than NYC!
