I'm in need of the same thing!
I'm thinking of switching up a recipe that I've made beofe with Italian Turkey Sausage and using just regular ground turkey and adding my own spices.
Browned Ground Turkey
Italian Seasonings & Crushed Red Pepper
Sliced Onion
Sliced Peppers (Green, Red, or Yellow)
Diced Tomatoes (canned, no salt added)
Tomato Sauce (no salt added)
Cook it all up in the pan and then top over Quinoa or any Rice/Potato you like.0 -
I have no idea how healthy it was, but the wife made some chili with ground turkey. Very tasty.0

Ground Turkey
Turkey Flavored Stuffing (One Box)
1/2 cup Chicken Stock
Mix together, even divide amoung 12 muffin tins at 350 for about 25 minutes.
Can't get much easier and yummier than that. It's my Junkfood addicted DH's favorite.0 -

I put chopped up jalapenos and some light shredded cheese mixed in and then grill them like burgers. You can add egg white to hep it stick together. It is really good with or without a bun!0

Turkey Tacos! get a packet of low sodium taco mix your favorite healthy taco toppings (i like lettuce, tomatoes, a little cheese, maybe some salsa, whatever tickles your fancy). pretty simple to do0
-
Turkey ragu:
Boil your favorite whole wheat pasta, brown turkey in skillet, add a pint of grape tomatoes and some chopped garlic, cook till tomatoes burst then mix in pasta and top in bowl with feta cheese0 -
Turkey & Mixed Bean Chilli
Turkey Mince
Tin of Mixed Beans (Red Kidney, Chickpeas, Cannellini Beans, etc.)
Salsa
Chillies
Whatever else you might often add to a chilli, I often include diced onion, garlic and possibly mushroom.
Usually eat a small bowl with warmed wholemeal pita bread.0 -
I have THE BEST recipe for you for ground turkey (well, in my opinion); it's a pizza and it's completely free of sugar and flour, and it's to die for!!!
The crust is where you'll find the ground turkey; here is the recipe for the crust and you can top it however you'd like. Enjoy I'll try to post a pic of the one I made, too.
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp ground flaxseed
4 oz ground lean turkey
The turkey gets mixed in UNCOOKED (that's what makes it gooey).
Bake the crust alone for 5 minutes each side at 350 degrees
Top it and bake an additional 10-15 min
I used fat free cottage cheese and a little feta as my cheese...0 -
I make a meatloaf with Ground turkey... I also add yellow peppers and onions to it...
Its SOOOOOO good!!!!!0 -
I make my chili with ground turkey also. I find it to be just as tasty, and I figure its healthier, since the only ingredients I add after then contain no fat.0
-
i love turkey taco's!! how about stuffed peppers with ground turkey, or spaghetti?0
-
I like to make lettuce wraps along with most everything else I read on this page.0
-
Stuffed turkey peppers. Top with a low-sodium ragu and some cheese.0

That is all I use is ground turkey, basically anything you would of made with ground beef just replace!0
-
I make feta-stuffed turkey burgers:
http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/feta-stuffed-turkey-burgers-10000001898535/
I skip the bun because I'm gluten free and don't really need it (sometimes I wrap it in lettuce instead). My family eats them on Sandwich Thins.0 -
you can make anything with ground turkey that you could with ground beef.
taco's/burritos
chili
taco salad (kinda like taco bells-use low salt/baked tortilla chips)
hamburger soup (replace ground beef with ground turkey & it's got a lot of veggies).0 -
Can use the turkey or ground chicken or seafood. It is great and I figured out the whole thing is about 680 calories and each lettuce cup is about 68 calories.
Chinese Lettuce Wrap (Ants on a Hill) - makes a lot
1 can Water Chestnuts
1 can Bamboo
2 stalks green onion
****ake mushrooms or 5 or so regular mushrooms
2 lbs ground chicken OR fish & shrimp chopped – cooked set aside
Iceberg lettuce
Hoisin sauce
Soy sauce
Hot bean paste or Szechuan paste
Salt
Sesame oil
Dice first four ingredients & cook in small amount of oil about 2 minutes
Mix together chicken / fish and vegetables
To Taste
Add ½ jar Hoisin (3 or 4 TBS)
1 or 2 TBS hot bean paste
Drizzle w/ soy
Dash sesame oil
Salt
Separate lettuce leaves add large spoonful in center fold/roll0 -
Turkey Burger makes excellent cabbage rolls. Just mix with breadcrumbs or rice (or both) and anything else you like to add in (garlic, onions, peppers, spices etc) and roll into longish balls and roll up in softened cabbage leaves. Pour tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato juice over this (along with whatever yer mama uses) and pop it in the oven to bake away the afternoon. Serve with rice:)0

I do a stroganoff, brown your turkey then add in a small container of fat free sour cream and a package of onion soup mix then serve it over rice or noodles either one, I usually add mushrooms also if I have some0

I use ground turkey in most anything that calls for ground beef. One of my favorite recipes is Shepard's Pie. You can try mine: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/recipe/edit/2022107
or the original: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/rachael-ray/30-minute-shepherds-pie-recipe/index.html0 -
Myrecipes.com has some good recipes for turkey. I like the 3 bean turkey chili that you make in a crock pot. Calorie count on it is 210 for 10 oz so you can enjoy a fair size portion.0

I love making dirty rice! 1 lb of ground turkey, 1 onion chopped, 3 celery stalks chopped, 1 green pepper chopped, 1 to 1 1/2 tsp of Mrs. Dash original, Salt and pepper to taste. Really brown turkey really well. Add water to break turkey down well. Add veggies in to cook well. Add 1 cup of rice uncooked and add 2 cups of water and some chicken base, cover for 20 mins and yum. You can add curry or other spices to switch it up. Leftovers are great for stuffed peppers. Just stuff green peppers with mixture top with tomato sauce and bake at 350 for around 30 mins. Yummo!0
