Accepted myself and others, believe in myself and stopped trying to be who I thought they wanted. Not fear failure, Waste of energy.

Nothing. Every road taken, rough or smooth, and every turn taken, wrong or right, led me to this point in my life. This is where I want to be, with the family and friends I have. We are products of our experiences. Good and bad.

Not get lost in drinking. Not get drunk the night I was assaulted. Not let my drinking get worse after that. Not gain weight when I finally moved away from home to cope with my depression. Not stop going to therapy. Not stop my antidepressants. Not stay in a relationship with an abusive man for two years. Not almost lose my relationship with my parents. Not let my mother be afraid that I wouldn't be alive the next she woke up.

I can honestly say I wouldn't change a thing. My life is 100% amazing and beautiful and fulfilling now. Any changes, no matter how small, in the years leading up to that could have lead to something different. Don't wish for changes in past behaviors. Make changes in your current behaviors if you are unhappy.

Go back to Freshman year of highschool and do it all right. Study hard, get good grades, go to a good college, get a good job, start losing weight the right way then. But I also have to remember that if things were different my life wouldn't be what it is now. I probably wouldn't have learned what I did to make it. I wouldn't have fallen in love with my fiancé. I wouldn't have bought our own home.

I have so many, but the biggest one is not go out with friends to the bar I didn't want to go to, and then I would not have met my ex. And also, gone to school much, much younger. It is much harder to do at 36, working full time.

If I could do over the first marriage for sure. I was 15 && young && only looking for a way out of an abusive household. Very blessed to have my two children from that marriage so if I could of had them with their now adoptive father I would have but I know everything happens for a reason but for sure that. He kept me trapped and is a big help to how my weight got away from me. Keeping me dependent on him and making sure I knew without him is never have anyone messed me up for a long time so to have a do over there would be my call hands down

I wouldn't have gotten married in the first place. Would have saved me a lot of misery.
