Multiple serving sizes in created foods?

I was wondering if there is a way to get multiple serving size options (cups, grams, pieces, etc) when creating new foods? I see tons of different options in user created foods in the database, so there's got to be a way, but I just can't seem to figure it out.

They might of created the foods with different measurements several times to get a grams or cups measurement

Just in edit recipes? I'll have to see if editing it with new measurements will give multiple options in the drop down.

Edit: Nope, that doesn't do it.

Unfortunately, there's no way to have weight, volume, pcs etc. all on the same database entry. The best solution Ive found is to list grams first, and volume/pcs/pkg etc. second, because whatever you list first shows on the dropdown. Example: Brussels sprouts: Serving size 85 g (0.5 cup). That way you get the grams on the dropdown menu so you don't have to weigh your serving and then math out the number of theoretical cups, and the unit of cups is still there for those who use it. As much as measuring solids by volume isn't the best way to go, people who can't or won't weigh should still have some way to account for their food without creating a new entry or taking over someone else's perfectly good weight entry.

Ok that's kind of what I figured. How then, are there so many entries in the database that have a bunch of measurement options? So many are the wrong measurements too, like fluid ounces for a solid food.

All the system entries for solid foods are supposed to include grams. When they don't, I create a case with Support. They usually fix this within 24 hours. You need to let them know that it is a System entry that is wrong in order to not get the form letter about user-created entries. http://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/emails/new or support@myfitnesspal.com

If a user creates an entry with cups, grams won't get added to it, which is another reason I try to not use user-created entries.
