Ok I am a beginner and I am trying to tone my whole body. My arms are flabby and so is my stomach. I am 160 lbs and 5'7". I would like to tone up and sculpt my body however I am confused on how often I should do weight lifting, everyday? every other day? because I read that muscle needs time to build so you have to let it rest. Also what type of food do I need to eat? I know I need protein to build muscle but how much? I am so confused on where to start. If you can help or even recommend a good website or book that I can buy so I can get a better idea that would be wonderful

You could either do full body weights every other day or a diff body part each day throughout the week depending on your schedule. I would do at least .5 gram of protein per pound of body weight to start0

Idk you should be able to type it in this app telling it what you'd want to achieve like loosing weight maintaining etc.. it would give you a general idea. Then you can experiment and see what's right for you. It tells me 2800 calories but that's more than I need for building muscle so it's just all about figuring it out. Hope that helps!0
