Curious what others are aiming for.
I am 42, 30 lbs to lose. My job is sedentary. I workout 6 days a week (mostly steady state cardio, but will be adding weight training and more HIIT). So far lost 16 lbs in 66 days. I keep changing my caloric goal so curious what is working for other shorter women.
Set currently at 1300.

I'm 31 and 112 pounds. I came off a bulk and I'm doing my final cut to 108 pounds. I aim for half a pound per week and I eat between 1700 and 2200 calories depending on my activity for the day and how hungry I am. I exercise six days per week, mostly weights but cardio once or twice per week, and I have an active rest day once per week. I walk 15,000 to 25,000 steps per day.1

5'3" 145 aiming for 0.5 lbs per week, with my settings at sedentary, my goal is 1390. My Fitbit reports that over the past 30 days my calorie burn was an estimated 2848 and my average intake was 2611. My weight remains unchanged over that period of time, though. It appears that the Fitbit *may* slightly exaggerate my calorie burns (which are totalling nearly as much as MFP is estimating my BMR) or I'm not logging precisely enough. Possibly a combination. I know I had slipped a bit in my logging, but I'm working on that, and trying to do a better job of keeping the intake under the output level. I'll finish up the month of May at this level and if I still see no changes, I'll try for a slightly larger calorie deficit.
Edit: I went and hopped on the scale, and I spoke too soon - I'm down 1.2 lbs. I'll probably just keep doing what I'm doing.0 -
I'm amazed at how much variance there is! Of course we're all at different levels of fitness and body mass and activity levels but wow so much change!2

I agree! It's interesting to see the amount of difference between each individual. It varies so much!1 -
I'm 5'4" and my weight varies because I cut and bulk (my low end is 128 and my high end is 144, currently somewhere in the middle), but basically to lose weight I need to eat 1500 calories for about a half pound per week. Maintenance is 1800-1900. I'm lightly active with 10k steps per day, no cardio, and 4 days of weight training.

I'm 5'3.5" and I eat about 1000 calories a day but I don't exercise very much. I have about 15 pounds to go.0

5'3.5" and 42 years old. Trying to lose that last 8-10 pounds. I usually eat around 1900 a day. I have a desk job, but I am quite active when not at work.1

Wow I'm only 5 feet and eat 1350 a day. Makes me wonder if I'm not eating too much since I haven't lost a lb for 6 weeks. I work out 5 times a week, 3 times doing HIIT, twice with a trainer and the other two work outs are 20-30 mins cardio.
