I'm a pastry chef and I make about 40 or so cheesecakes a week for the bakery I work for. Never had a better cheesecake.7 -

Yes it does and it's heaven on a plate.0 -
There's a place in Asheville, NC called the Chocolate Bar. They make a GF chocolate cheesecake. I go buy myself a piece once or twice a year. It's a 90 mile drive. I have Celiac disease and I promise it's better than any regular cheesecake I ate prior to diagnosis.0

I prefer cheese torte which is a non-baked, egg-less version that is pretty similar to Sara Lee's french style cheesecake. If it's going to be a baked cheesecake, it is soooo much better when it is lemon flavored with some raspberry drizzle. Applebee's had an amazingly delicious one back when they had Weight Watcher's menu items. It didn't have a crust and it was lighter in texture like the cheese torte, but it was lemon flavored and had the raspberry drizzle. I wanted to cry when they got rid of it but kept the stupid chocolate cake.0

Cheesecake Factory's pumpkin spice cheesecake. I live for the fall.1

Cheesecake Factory's Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake.
(I sense a theme here!)2 -
Honeycomb cheesecake is by far the best flavour I've ever had0
-
I make a dual layer pumpkin cheese cake every year for thanksgiving....it is killer good2
-
Daiya New York-Style Cheezecake. Because it doesn't cause my stomach to revolt after eating it.0

When I was 17 years old, I ate this cheesecake that was perfect. My friends mom made it. It was creamy, and she sprinkled a little melted chocolate on top. It was so good. I was in an experimental phase in my life though so a little Mary Jane had been partaked in. That probably made it taste better.
Unfortunately, I woke up the next morning to see that it was a frozen piece of cheesecake with Hershey's on top...but the night before, it tasted like bliss...3 -
A raspberry chambord cheesecake with chocolate crust in a very small but lovely restaurant which has since closed. Would love to recreate it - perfect balance of tart raspberry puree/chambord with a super creamy cheesecake and the chocolate was a great finish. So good.1

cheesecake factory cookie dough cheesecake. I couldn't finish the slice and I never ever have that problem with cheesecake! It was incredibly rich and decadent.0

My sister made an amazing lemon blackberry one yesterday. I've made an amazing pumpkin cake cheesecake for Thanksgiving, too!0
-
My wife bakes a chocolate cheesecake from scratch with Oreo crust, Oreos folded into the cheesecake and Oreos crumbled on top.
Seriously the most delicious thing I've ever put in my mouth. Period. End of story.1 -
I was always a fan of the cheesecake from the box.0

The Cheesecake Factory pumpkin pecan cheesecake. It's a good thing that it's only available one month a year, honestly. Their turtle one is a close second.
Junior's strawberry shortcake cheesecake in NYC is phenomenal though. I didn't get to try their regular one unfortunately.
Honestly though I can't say that I've tried so many of them, because I often end up disappointed when I order some at restaurants... so I don't bother anymore.0 -
Seems like cheesecake is popular0

The one's my husband bakes. He has a "cheesecake bible" cookbook and makes pretty much any kind you could ever want. And his always come out light and creamy not heavy thick (and gross) like the store bought and/or Cheesecake Factory cakes! My faves of his are the cappuccino flavored and peppermint or chocolate mint flavored, although his pumpkin flavored and chocolate flavored are very close runner ups!

The ones I don't have to make myself. I do prefer ones without fruit topping. If you want a specific type, there's a very popular one here called Chocolate Eruption.

Pretty much any flavor exists in cheesecakes, even ones you don't want... the "cheesecake bible" I referenced in my above comment includes: Salmon flavored and Chives & Dill flavored... we HAVE NOT tried those ones, LOL0 -
My friend's pear cheesecake. Just lightly pear, still so...oh dangit now I want cheesecake.0

I am from Chicago, so there's no better cheesecake than Eli's.0

Cheesecake Factory red velvet is so good. A coconut creampie cheese cake is one of the best ove ever had. I love sicilian cheesecakes its a little different then american as it uses ricotta.0

Wow. That looks good. I agree about not liking the ones with fruit topping. My cheesecake opinion is, if it's not chocolate, why eat it?0 -

Depends, I find most chocolate cheesecakes just too dense and rich for me!
A good caramel cheesecake would be my favorite but both the dulce de leche and salted caramel ones from Cheesecake Factory were a huge let down.0 -

My problem with CF is that there are so many choices and I know that I like 1 or 2 so I get them instead of risking ordering something that I won't like. I wish they had a sampler--maybe get 3 mini slices so I could get 1 that I know for sure that I like and then try 2 others.0
