Butts

Ok, so just to clarify, this question is in regard to cellulite on the butt/leg area.
I've been told diet and exercise will melt those lumps ...but then I hear conflicting info saying genetics will leave those lumps permanently and there's very little you can do to change that.
I used to have a nice butt in high school and didn't even work out! Now that I'm older though that's all changed. I go to the gym everyday. I'm at my weight goal but my legs still look pretty lumpy and it bugs me that POSSIBLY it will be like that forever?! So what is the truth behind cellulite? Any success stories to help motivate are appreciated.

Strength training for the hips and glutes can help reduce the appearance of cellulite (though it won't get rid of it entirely). Squats, deadlifts, hip thrusts, glute bridges, hip abduction, etc.0

LOTs of walking lunges... with lots of variations.. side steps, skating lunges... cross stepping... dumbbell in each hand... dumbbell in one hand... check the muscle anatomy of a butt... exercise accordingly0

Lunges, squats, more lunges, more squats. Goal weight doesn't equate to fat free. Reduce the fat under the skin and lumps disappear0

These might be good but seem more as a general rule for keeping healthy skin. I do know that blood flow has a lot to do with it and I've tried a few essential oils to help with that. Peppermint and rosemary oil seem to work! But only a little.0
