Over 75,000 for the week. Not bad for a week with 3 rest days. But still short of the over 90,000 last week.

(Considering I just started and was averaging around 3.5 km/day, I'm pretty happy) Today will be pretty light.2 -

Walked 25 miles week 1, 55 miles week 2 bringing me to 80 miles so far this month. Just over 10 of those miles were today, 15 yesterday. Never walked so much in my life as this week.6

Update from me for last 8 days.
Sun - rest day
Mon - 15,997 steps
Tues - 11,067 steps
Wed - 19,575 steps
Thurs - rest day
Fri - 10,447 steps
Sat - 40,332 steps
Sun - 22,920 steps
Was trying to do 10,000 steps every day but finding I need the odd rest day to recover. Probably not a bad thing but makes me feel like I failed to achieve my goal. In future I'll set a monthly challenge instead of a daily one.

Neighborhood Walk 5,473 steps 2.25 miles 1:00:01 292 cals
So hard to rest, but then again, I could not do my normal. So, I took the neighbor's dog on a walk for an hour. He is my best buddy (black lab named Dakota). He has been gone since last October and I am so glad he is back home now.2 -
HAHAHHA! I sent an email today to the runner's club. They are sponsoring a new runner for a half marathon in the fall. Only qualification was that you never have run an official half marathon before. I have been walking for a very long time and just recently added jogging. I think it would be fun to enter a race and train for it.6

HI! I read this forum yesterday and put thought into joining. I know its not much but I went for a 30 minute walk today, As fast as i could without like speed walking.
May be a bit TMI but yesterday I told myself ill walk in a few days when my, Erm, Visitor left ?
BUT I didn't use that as an excuse, I went out and I did it ^_^ Im quite proud of myself.4 -
I would like to join for the remainder of May.2

I think that this is great! I know it's not the same but you averaged 14,625 per day.3 -

This weekend I was off work. That is very rare.
