Hi, my name is Tiffany. I have struggled with infertility and having PCOS and being over weight. After 5 rounds of fertility treatments with none being successful we've decided ivf is our next option. The doctors want my bmi to be 35. So now on to losing weight and dieting. My first goal is 30 pounds. 1 week in and I'm not weighing in yet only because Im trying to get a routine and nutritional diet planned. So here goes nothing hoping to drop the weight in 3 months.

Hey there. Glad you're not giving up. I suffer from hypothyroidism and progesterone / estrogen hormone issues. I had a miscarriage last year and at this point I am off limits to even trying until my levels are at normal range. My sister has pcos and after exercising and eating paleo for a year she has been able to lose the weight and get her body to where it needs to be. My whole story is to let you know you are not alone and that overtime you can be healed through proper diet and exercise. It's definitely hard I'll admit. Feel free to add me if you want. Good luck on your journey to healthy weight loss.

I'm a seasoned pcos and ivf'er. I lost my weight by following a low carb diet, almost like paleo. And I do have 13 month old twins from ivf. Feel free to add me!

@sammyre12 Thank you. I had a chemical pregancy in January i tend to have low progesterone after ovulating the joys of progesterone oil injections. It is tough with hormone issues to lose weight but im not going to let it be an excuse. Even if i lose 1 pound every other week is better than nothing.

I have PCOS and Hypothyroidism as well. I tried for 2 years to get pregnant with my first including using femara, clomid, trigger shot, bravelle and doing IUI's. I finally took some time off and lost 84 lbs and got pregnant my very first IUI after losing the weight. I really think that the exercise and weight loss made a difference. I now have a perfect 16 month old. I am trying to lose the rest of the weight I gained from pregnancy and my first year of motherhood so I can be in better health if we decide to have another. You can definitely do it because I am sure you want to be a mom MORE than you want to eat bad foods. PLUS because of all of the exercise I did I felt great my entire preganancy (even though I was still overweight when I got pregnant). SO just think of all of the work you are putting in now for the best reward later. Feel free to add me!

I lost the 84 lbs by working out and walking 6 days a week and by doing low carb with paleo challenges thrown in there. I am now doing strict paleo, 30 day shred 3 days a week and walking 4 days a week.

I walked an hour a day sometimes an hour and a half!

It took me about a year! Which seems like a long time but totally worth it!!

    You can do it!
