Cinema snacks?

Just wondering what people take as healthy snacks to the cinema or just out and about in general?
My big downfall is that I go to the cinema once or maybe twice a week and usually involves sweets or ice cream!
Alternative ideas anyone?

Microwaved homemade popcorn!
1/3 cup of corn kernels in a brown bag (fold the top opening).
Put in microwave and zap fro 3 min. -listen for the pops to stop, just like you would on any microwave pop corn.
Spray it with coconut oil and sea salt, and perfectly popped, low fat, no preservatives, pop corn! I've also added sprinkles of dark cocoa powder and a little coconut sugar for a sweet treat.
Stick it in a ziploc bag and take it with you to the movies!5 -
I take a bag of candy with me or popcorn lol But I know some people like taking homemade stuff with them like homemade granola bars or fruit1

Eat before you go to the movie. If you must eat, water and a small (1-2 oz.) bag of peanut or almonds.1

I like pork rinds at the movie theater. Crunchy and good for macros. I'm also just satisfied with a diet soda now.1

I usually take some prime rib and a baked potato with me. Ruins my shirt pockets, but oh so good.
I don't like eating during a movie because I chew loudly and find noise A LOT more distracting than someone on their cellphone.0 -

Almonds, apple chips, yogurt covered fruit snacks, just smuggling anything in helps curb you breaking down and getting those milk duds!2

Cinema is a once every 4-6 months feat for me, usually followed by a night out at a resturaunt. Movie popcorn and soda is part of the whole ritual so I just order that. On these days I exercise a little extra and eat at maintenance, with a lighter breakfast and lunch. I feel trying to diet on these days is not worth it since they aren't frequent, so I just focus on enjoying the company and the food instead of preoccupying myself with weight loss. If I happen to go over maintenance, I make up for it later. If I happen to go over my maintenance by a lot, I let it go and accept I will have a week without loss.7

Just don't be the annoying person with baby carrots! I hate that person. I go to the movie about once a week or more. I get the mini size popcorn if they have it with no butter. If I'm at a movie I want their popcorn - or no snack. There's no alternative.
I also have a large bottle of water and bring crystal light packets in my purse to dump in it for flavor.1 -

I've taken a baggie of cheerios just to have something to crunch on in the past. Of late though, I'll get a soda and skip the food. We go pretty rarely, so I usually eat beforehand so I don't have to think about it. If we go to the drive in, sometimes we'll pay the extra $5 to bring food in from home and then buy sodas there. The drive in makes most of their money from the snack stand, so we try to support it because we want it there.0
