No I don't. When my social life means that a restaurant meal or drinks are on the cards I plan that into my daily/weekly allowance.

This is what I do. I exercise more on these days.

Nope. If I don't learn to fit in my favorite foods and treats while losing, how can I expect to maintain my weight for life? I make those things work in my daily caloric limit.

The difference is that, when losing, you're at a calorie deficit. If you can fit treats in while maintaining your deficit, great. But I do eat more "treats" when maintaining than when restricting calories.

If it works for you and others, again, that's great. But not treating yourself while on restricted consumption does not mean that you will not know how to eat responsibly when maintaining.

Closer to goal BF%, I have a free day. I can't cut as many calories with less fat stores so it helps with energy levels when leaner and also I feel better about doing it. I have also had to do it periodically in the last 8 weeks - 2 meals that I can think of - because on a prolonged deficit I start to feel like crud and a refeed helps.

More like I have A treat A day, every day. Today I'm going to have some PB nutella, maybe on toast, maybe on a spoon. Maybe with milk. Depends on how many calories dinner ends up being.

I do but I'm thinking about cutting them out. They seem to derail me so bad it isn't even worth it to me.

I sure do. I don't schedule them but they are a part of life. This weekend I am going to a big birthday blowout and I'm sure the calorie count will be more than double what I normally eat. No big deal. It's not as if I do that every week.

I eat up to 2,500 calories every Friday and Saturday, it hasn't impacted my weightloss, but I do weigh 267 lbs....

On a normal day, if I want something, I fit it into my allowance. I save my non-logging cheat days for special occasions only.

If I want something, I eat it. I just realize that my losses wont be as high for the week/month. At this point, I am ecstatic to lose a pound or so a month. I have no reason to put a timeline on myself.

Also, I really don't like the word "cheat" or saying Im "on a diet". This is my lifestyle, and I'm trying to build a healthy, balanced, sustainable on. There is no reality where I will give up mexican, pizza, hot wings, or ice cream :)

I eat a pint of Arctic Zero ice cream almost every night. Sometimes I'll eat dark chocolate instead. And once or twice a month, I'll go to a chinese buffet. IIFYM

When I "cheat" the calories are worked into my daily total. I see no point cheating without making up for the extra calories - it's like going backwards. But I don't have a lot to lose so my margin for error is very small. I still manage to have ice cream, the occasional cocktail, even a little salty snacks in small amounts. I definitely don't feel deprived in the least.

Whilst losing weight I never had treat or cheat days as I was very strict and honestly didn't miss it .
Now I'm trying to maintain I do have treats when I want them and never overindulge so they always fit into my calories .
I've worked so hard to lose the weight that I know what to do now and I am good at self control so if I feel like going to an all you can eat once a week or every 2 weeks I will.
Everyone is different so it's finding out what works for you
