You can add me too!! I've just sent some requests aswell.
I have 110lbs to lose in total - since Jan 2016 I've lost 25lbs so I've another 85lbs to go!3 -
Its nice to know that I am not alone in my journey to lose 100 lbs. I was at my heaviest weight last December and decided that now was going to be the time that I didn't quit until I was 100lbs lighter and healthier. So since December I have lost 60 lbs. I attribute a lot of it to MYFITNESSPAL. Being accountable for what I put in my mouth has been the biggest blessing and kept me on the straight and narrow. I would love your help and to be able to help you on this journey!
Rule #1- IT really does come down to calories in VS calories out!
Rule #2- Log everything you eat!
Rule #3- ignore the negative thoughts in your head. You will be your worst enemy!5 -
Anyone is welcome to add me. Always welcome new friends.1

I'm in the same boat, would love to have more friends and support. Anyone can add me if they like!1

Feel free to add me, I just came back to MVP yesterday. I have gained and lost more weight over the years than I can count. I am now 47 years old and 2016 has been a mental and physical journey for me. I am now coming from a more positive place than I've ever been and I think that's the key. I've lost 31 pounds and have 66 more to go, but I look at it in 5 pound goals. I'd love to chat with new friends and hear what works for them and share what helps me.1

Sounds like you've got your mind made up! Good luck on your new journey!0

Hi I'm 49yrs and I originally lost 105lbs kept it off 2 years then new job stress and my mother dying got me depressed and back to binge eating gained 60lbs back. Feeling positive now and I'm hoping to be back to goal in October. Please feel free to friend me, remember it has to be a lifestyle change, not a diet!1

I started my journey back in December, and have lost just over 80 pounds with about 55 or so to go.
My biggest advice: take it one day at a time and trust that you are stronger than you think. You got this!2 -
Im here daily. I would LOVE to have friends that are working on goals like mine. I have 99 pounds to lose PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD ME and just leave a comment so I know where you saw me on here.2

Hi there and welcome feel free to add me I have met some awesome people on here very positive and supportive I'd like to help you and anyone else on here feel free to add ! We can do it it's easier with a lot of support1

I am in the same boat as you! I need to lose around 175 lbs. and I need all the Motivation and support I can get. If I don't lose this weight the Dr's won't operate on my back and I need to do this for me, but also, I am so sick and tired of not being able to buy clothes (filling out of place), being on the outside looking in all the time, and I want my family to be proud of me and not ashamed of me. Mom say's just get off your butt and my brothers are the ones ashamed of me. I'm used to it by now, but it still hurts.
I have disabilities, so I can not exercise like everyone else can, but I do what I can. There are days however; that I can hardly walk, but I still try. I can't raise my arms very high either. So if anyone would like a fun, exited, emotional, super supporting person I'm your man. In this case woman. lollol lollol My ID is mawmawhueber if you'd like to add me. Thank you.1 -
I would love to add all of y'all for support as well I just don't know how. Can anyone tell me how or add me? Thank you!1

I recommend some good reads for you to start this journey as my "incredibly generic advice" when someone is new to MFP.

There is a Search Function that will be very useful.
These are just a few of the many great posts that have been so helpful.
In closing I offer up this small bit of wisdom. I can't remember where I read it but a wise person told me that my goal should be the next 1 pound loss, not the 75 I wanted to lose.0 -
I have lost 135 lbs in a year and a half the last 52 since Nov. I am a diabetic with fibro and chronic fatigue and depression. I have taken care I of people all my life I'm a retired nurse and decided to take care of me I still have 60 to 70 IBS to lose and will do it I walk everyday with my dog and just bought a bike haven't rode in 40 years I'll be 58 in June. So if you need a good belly laugh should watch me learn my 4 yr old granddaughter no training wheels is teaching me. Lol. Please feel free to add me would love to listen and go thru the rest of my journey with friends.1
