I have been using the basic MFP app on and off for over a year. Now I am really focused on nutrition rather than just calories. I got an Ad about premium, that it tracks more nutrients. Does this mean that the paid app tracks more vitamins and minerals? Such as vitamin D and so on? For the people that have tried premium MFP, what do you love/ dislike about it compared to the free app?

    i paid for the whole year and i love it. i like the fact that i can customize my macros by day.

    The nutrients you can choose from is no different. If you like to customize your macros though, it is well worth it. I have it for that reason and it is extremely useful

    I didn't realize there were inaccuracies. I'm just wanting to know more about things like magnesium and vitamin D and so on, how much I'm getting from the foods I log and how much of those nutrients I'm lacking daily. I like that calcium and iron are included in the free app, just wish the app tracked more nutrients. I've started a multivitamin but would like a better picture of how my diet contributes.

    I've heard good things about cronometer for tracking micronutrients.

    Wait till you add a food that has negative nutrients - makes you wonder how innacurate the other foods are

    Oh I haven't had that happen yet but yes that would make me question the accuracy.
