Strength Exercise

Why doesn't strength exercises count as exercise in my little calorie equation. Like today I did the Shoulders/Arms dvd for P90X so I put in all the lifts that we did and how many sets and stuff.

you put it under cardio. the strength training bit is just so you can keep track, but you count the calories under the cardio area.0

You can log it under cardio as "strength training".0

Look up strength training in the cardio part. Then enter the number of minutes. I'm not sure it's real accurate for the calories, but better than nothing!0

I don't count those calories because I don't reach my target heart rate and those calories aren;t burning fat or sugar. I only count calories in arobic exercises that I reach my target heart rate. I use the strength exercises for toning only.0
