Has anyone used one? Which brand would you recommend? I'm thinking about getting one, not to use as my main form of exercise but just to get me moving more while at home and unable to get out for whatever reason. They seem a little silly though so I wanted to see if anyone here likes them.

Is this what you are talking about? http://www.amazon.com/Stamina-In-Motion-Elliptical-Trainer/dp/B00AQ7ZNEA

I have used one before. It is a great space saver. It is not an elliptical. It feels a little bit like a strange combo of riding a bike and running... I liked that it didn't take up much room and that I could get some cardio in at my house. I no longer use it though. We got a small stationary bike and dedicated some floor space because my husband expressed an interest in doing some cardio work.

If you get one order some spare wheels from the manufacture. If you hear a horrible rubbing noise it is the ball bearings in the wheel. The wheels are really easy to replace.

I used one at a fitness expo. It looked like it would be great for people with limited space.

I have an elliptical/recumbent bike...great little space saver, and a nice cardio workout...Mine has the arms that also move, so double the calorie burn! Win Win!

Yeah that's the one I'm looking at. I'm debating between than and the stamina rowing machine. I want something I can do at home in front of the tv at night.

Rowing would be a better full body workout.

Rowing would be a better workout...but please watch some videos on form. I cringe just watching most folks rowing at my gym. Even the ones the trainers put on the infernal machine.

Can you recommend any specific videos?
