Quick Question

This has probably been asked before so don't get mad if I'm a repeat offender but here's my question.
You know how after you enter your food for the day and it tells you how much you will weigh in 5 weeks. I am just wondering, is that 5 weeks from the day you entered your food or from the day you last chaged your weight on the check in portion?
Just curious.

Ya...how accurate is it? I was wondering if those who have been doing this for a while could share.0

Ya cuz mine is differnt everday....:huh:0

It means that if you had the same number of calories that you did for today, every single day for the next five weeks then you would weigh the amount it gives you.
It's not terribly accurate because it will change everyday depending on your caloric intake. However, it's a pretty good general indicator if you stay within your MFP guidelines. It can be pretty motivating to see where you could be if you stick to it every day.
It can also work the opposite way. If you eat WAY OVER your calories it can show you how much weight you would gain in 5 weeks. That's a whole other level of motivation.0 -
Where do you see this?0

Right under the blue strip when you go to the my home page, you can't miss it.0

Sorry it's under you profile box.0

You will see it after you enter all your food for the day, and then hit "I'm done entering all my food" or whatever. Then it will tell you "if you eat like that every day for the next 5 weeks you will be ___ pounds."0

I've never seen this "I'm done entering my food" thing?!?!:blushing: I'm so confused!0 -
that little "weight predictor" is not accurate at all....after entering all my meals it will tell me "if everyday were like today, in 6 weeks you could weigh 126 pounds"....and trust me - i have been at this a LONG time and am nowhere close to that weight...i am always in a deficit so i SHOULD be losing but my body fails to cooperate and so i have stopped getting my hopes up with that little fortune telling weight comment....grrrrrrrr :grumble:0
