    Bananas, Cashew nuts, Greek Yogurt, Corn, Carrots, Peanut butter, and trail mix are all great snacks.

    Corn...as in pop corn??

    Sweet!! Corn is one of my faves, but I've always thought it wasn't good for you.

    It's not that it's not good for you.. it's just.. eh. In my opinion it doesn't do much for you in terms of calories vs nutrients. It's a starchy carb like potatoes are. They are in the same food category to me (same as carrots/peas). But that is different for everyone.

    I love hummus with whole wheat Pita bread and Apple's with peanut butter :)

    I also use the perimeter rule and luckily companies are listening so we have a lot of healthier on the go options. Pre sliced fruits and veggies are also great, or even those take and go small salads. Peanut butter bites (skippy makes them and they are yummy) Laughing cow makes a cheese and bread stick snack, we also have these fruits and cottage cheese grab packs, greek yogurt, granola is a favorite of mine.
