people say farmer carries are for more grip, forearm, trap, core, and back strength. I have forearms, bis, tris, and abs today. Or should I do them on my shoulder and traps day. Or on my back day? Lol idk where to place them. Where would you do them? Thanks!

Forearm day.
ETA: I do them on leg day at the very end. I've already worked my grip fairly well on deadlifts and I use farmers walks as a finisher. I don't isolate forearms on any day.0 -
IMO, they are a general conditioning exercise. I don't do them the day before I deadlift since I'll sometimes get some cramping in my hands and I want to be able to grip for the deadlifts. Don't do any direct forearm work and very limited bicep.0

Also interested in how often people do farmer's walks.
Saw this comment:
Q. How often should I train the farmers walk?
A. Once a week should be sufficient for heavy loaded carries. If you are using lighter weights strictly for conditioning purposes, feel free to run it more often. However, extremely heavy weights are a major strain on the body and can negatively affect recovery if performed daily.

These things look interesting, let you use any weight plate(s) as a farmer's walk implement:
