I have been going to the gym 5 times a week now since Mid-March. I have seen improvements in how much I can lift and also my endurance on treadmill/elliptical. I also am eating healthier. Mostly drink water. Decreased my alcohol and sweets intake by like 5/6. However the inches aren't coming off as of the past two-three weeks. My weight has also increased a bit which may just be muscle building. Why am I not seeing inches be lost right now?

Are you counting calories? Because if you are consuming more calories than you burn, you'll gain weight over time.

If you are counting calories and you are at a deficit, give it time. Lots of time you get a pause before a woosh.

Count you intake in calories and don't believe the exercise calories. Drink lots of water, walk don't drive, and give yourself a break at the gym. You'll never keep it up.

You're not building new muscle if you're in a caloric deficit. What's your TDEE and total calorie intake?
