My goal is to lose fat. However I am at 150 lbs but want to come back up to 170 or so pounds. I have fat that needs to go. So what should I set My Fitness Pal at...maintain, lose, or gain? Im also 5'8". I know that I have fat in areas which needs to go.

If you have fat that you would like to lose, wouldn't you want to lose weight instead of increase to 170lbs? Not quite sure what you're asking.2

In other words...I definitely don't want to lose more weight. In fact I'm under the weight goal in which I was aiming for so how or what do I do to keep from losing anymore weight even though I have fat in certain areas of my body which have to go?(If that make sense). I am assuming that I would still have to keep losing even though that's not what I want to remove fat from certain areas... Right or wrong?0

So If i'm understanding correctly, you want to lose fat and gain muscle so you can become leaner but remain a healthy weight? Have you looked into bulk/cut cycles and progressive lifting programs?1
