I'm sure this is nothing to worry about but I'm wondering what it is. I lifted today and just noticed these marks on my upper right arm but not my left. They aren't itchy or sore. My workout was all lower body, so no direct arm work but I use my arms for deadlifts and squats obviously. Would this be broken capillaries?

Hard to tell. Are they raised bumps or is the skin smooth?

    Looks like keratosis pilaris.

    They're smooth.

I did a 20 rep squat set w/my 10 RM as my final exercise so that was kind of intense. I'm reading about people w/broken capillaries on their faces after lifting. Nobody with it on one arm though.

It looks like exercise induced petechiae. If you have been taking any kind of pain killer, they can also cause petechiae. Allergies and some illnesses can also be causes.

It might be worthwhile to see a doctor if you continue to experience them, notice additional symptoms, or if you just start feeling worried.

I break capillaries doing hanging ab work and deadlifts. It could be that. If this happens every time consider moving your grip in and out on the bar to see if that helps. It could be that you grip the bar too hard or that your grip is close enough to cut off blood supply.
