My goal is to have a healthy BMI and be strong. 20+ pounds down, 50+ to go.2

My goal right now is to lose at least 7-8 more pounds, I'll be 135-ish pounds : ) I've already lost a bit over 50 pounds in 2 years.1

Hi Dave I have been in the same boat. Right now I am at my heaviest and that's what made me finally realize I needed to change. I have done the same too changed my lifestyle habits. Not just for me but my whole family. Good luck.1 -

That is great. I always try to start with my short term goal first also. Because it seems so hard when you are going for high numbers and sometimes you get discouraged when its just little by little. Good luck with your goals. You can do it.1 -

Hi I think that is great. I won't to lose 100 more pounds which will put me in the 100'same and I am afraid that everyone will think the same thing. But I am coming to realize that I'm doing it for me to be healthy and not for what everyone will think about it. Good luck and remember it's for you and what you will feel good about. Good luck.1 -
I have to lose about 50lbs and I have medical issues that stop me from losing weight normally. But I'm trying. I appreciate myself for all little achievements. Actually, i have a note in my phone where i add all tiny achievements, eg. resisting sweet.
I am deliberately getting myself too used to MFP so it becomes a habit even when im busy and i remember to log in everything.
I am trying to switch my interests. I'm making myself love makeup more so next time, whether I'm excited or upset, need reward or comfort, I don't resort to food, and go to makeup instead.
I'm adding a lot of people. The statuses and the community spirit is AMAZING! Feel free to add me too!
Also, I'm not too hard on myself. I try having an extra calorie deficit of 500 each day after my already set goal. But if some day i can't, i regret it enough to not repeat that, but I don't get frustrated or criticize myself too much.2 -

Congratulations to you all! This is a difficult, but rewarding journey. My starting weight was 251 pounds on March 28, today I weighed in at 229. I'm weighing and measuring everything, exercising more than I ever have and feeling good! I have set my loss to 1lb per week and have done that each week. I find this is the best way for me...I know I can maintain this lifestyle! Good luck to us all!!!4

I've loss 57 lbs since Jan 4th. I still have 110 lbs to go to reach my final goal weight of 150 lbs. But, my biggest goal is to
KEEP IT OFF this time. So tired of all these years of dieting and gaining. Iam over it!!!! I am finally making the lifestyle changes to make it happen.

I set my first goal at 20lbs. Im thinking my long term goal is about 100 to 120 but I'm setting smaller goals along the way. Ultimately I'd like to get back into my smallest jeans, a 14. Right now I'm a 24 so got a ways to go.1

We have almost the same goal in mind. I would like to lose at least 100 more. But my short term is 40 pounds.1 -

I started at 170 lbs and have lost 34 lbs so far. I'm at a healthy BMI now at 136 lbs, but I still have excess fat on my belly and thighs (shopping for pants is the worst!). I think another 11 -16 lbs down should help slim those last stubborn areas. The last time I made it down to 120 lbs was 8 years ago but it was so short-lived. I'm going to take my time getting back to that weight because I want it to do it right and make it last this time!2

My total goal to lose is around 150 pounds. Down 17 pounds so far since middle of April. My first short term goal is to lose 50 pounds by my boys birthdays at the end of OCT!1

Loss goal is 85 but after I get there I would actually like to gain back about 20 in muscle. I used to be 282 when I was in University and was very strong. Wrestler, weight lifter etc. Not super fit mind you but here we were 20 years later and I was still 282, just a lot weaker. I'm down to 258 and will keep going. My hope is to be at goal weight by October although I am pushing a bit too hard to get there quick. Then go find my weights.2

I began my weight loss journey without actually having a goal other than "exercise and lose weight". Later I did a little searching and found that the middle of a healthy BMI for a man my height is 160, so I been saying that my goal is to reach and remain at 160. That would be a loss of 112.4 lb from my starting weight. As of this morning I had lost 51.2 lb. I am 5'10", or 178 cm.2

Started the process January 1st at 288. Goal was to drop down to 250 by the end of March. I did that.
Set the next goal of 230 by July 1st. I actually reach that by the end of May. The crazy part is that's six months ago I can never picture 250.
At this point I reset my next goal at 220 by the end of August.2 -

That is awesome sometimes I think of my 100 pound goal and it kind of scares me. Then I remember if I just keep my lifestyle changed by eating better I can do it.1 -

Oh wow that is awesome. I would also like to build muscle after I reach my goal. I think that it s going to be very important that I tone up.1 -

I want to lose 75 pounds. It's been a little over a week and I'm down 5 pounds! But first I want to lose 35 pounds because that will be the lightest I've weighed since elementary!3

I would like to reach 145 pounds, about 45 pounds away. Then once I reach 145 I will reevaluate and set new goals.2
