17 lbs in 2 weeks is craziness. Don't worry about only having lost 1 lb look at what you've lost so far. The most I've ever lost in 2 weeks is 5 lbs. Don't let small numbers discourage you because tou will get them more and more often. You just have tonkeep going don't stop. It's still going in the right direction!

Weekly goals: Run 3 times a week, do core strength work 4 days a week, daily logs.

Struggles: This weekend was hard since we had friends over and I have less control of menus. My jogging stroller tire blew during a run Wednesday so hoping to get this fixed quick so I can get back out there.

Successes: Great 1st week and I feel good! Got out for a nice long weekend run and kept up home workouts (30 day shred mostly) on no-run days. Clean-eating throughout the weekdays.

    Good Morning and Happy Monday.

I'm running a bit late today. I've had a busy morning here SO now I am trying to catch up with my usual posts on MFP. I wish you all a powerful start to your week!

    Todays challenge question...

What do you like to do on REST days?

On rest days I like catching up with my tv shows. If I happen to be all caught up then I like reading....all this of course providing the baby is taking his usual naps.

Yes I like to do as little as possible on my rest days but since I do have a four year old son as well as my daughter and husband a little is sometimes still a lot! Today is very sunny where I live so I hope to go get wet in the crooked river. :-)

Rest days? What are those - lol I am sure most of us can relate .....

But seriously I know what you mean - rest from strenuous workouts.
For activity I walk or do gentle stretching yoga. I also like to read, draw and paint.

Weekly Goals: be active at least 30 minutes every day. Track all of my food

Struggles : had a bit of a gain this week. It was a busy week with schedules so we had to eat on the go a couple times

Successes: Continued doing 30 day shred. I am currently on day 14 and have been feeling great. I have noticed my clothes fitting looser which is a great feeling.

    Weekly Goals:
Ramadan is beginning tomorrow and I'm hoping I can manage working out and also limiting the foods I eat.

    Struggles:
Hormonal problems. I should have lost more than 2 pounds this week but I lost just 1. Something is better than nothing, so I'm grateful but it means I had to re-evaluate my goals because I should expect to see half the result of my actual efforts.

    Successes:
Continuous calorie deficits. Met many of my goals. Limited junk food. Logged in everything. Lost some weight :')

At this point I can't really answer that question because I am in an exercise slump so it feels like everyday is a rest day. Once I get up to my 5-6 days a week (hopefully this week) I would agree with you it would be tv!!

    Rest days...

Absolutely nothing, napping ranks high (especially since any given day I have 1-2 cats napping on the sofa near me and I just want to snuggle up and nap with them - what a life!). Actually, I typically end up doing a full day of my favorite online game (it's a silly game called Bush Whacker 2, not any violent MMOs). I really should be doing projects around the house though.

Rest Days are time with my husband. For 10 years we were either long distance or working opposite shifts, so I tried to enjoy any time I could get with him. I have a new schedule now, but I still just enjoy lazy time with him. Catching up on shows, just sitting outside on the deck, or walking to a local bar with neighbors. We don't have kids yet, so just trying to enjoy our free time while we can :)
