I stopped losing weight!

Options
Grr... This has happened before but not this soon. I know that the first 20lbs. are lost fast, I got that but now it seems to have stopped completely. How do you keep your body from holding on to weight? I eat about 1800 calories down from 4000 but I'm not hungry. I'm at1800 because that's all I'm hungry for so eating more than that is pointless. I workout about 3 times a week and walk 5 miles a day. Does this sound like my body is just adjusting? It can't hold on to the weight forever. How do I crack this lull?

Do you weigh all your solid and semi solid food on a food scale in grams?

There is no such thing as the body holding on to weight.. There is a lot questions to ask..

How long of a stall has it been?

Do you own and use a food scale?

Do you eat back exercise calories?

Are you in the last few pounds to meet your goal?

Are you measuring inches (arm, thigh, waist, hips)? It's possible you're losing body fat, but not weight (ie, you're replacing fat with muscle).

If you are accurately weighing all your eats, correctly logging all your eats, truthfully logging all your eats, and if you're in a calorie deficit, you will lose weight. If the 7-day chart doesn't look nice, look at the 30-day chart.

"not a stall" You know what? This is what I needed to read. I got used to seeing my first 20lbs. drop quickly and now it's slowing down. But I'm in no hurry. I think I just needed to read from someone else that my stop doesn't sound like a problem--thank you.

    It's true. :) A stall can be 4-6 weeks. :)
