Recommend a full body dumbbell workout

I would like a full body dumbbell routine that is simple to do, with few exercises, basically a dumbbell equivalent of Stronglifts 5x5. I would like to achieve a progressive overload and maintain some muscle as I lose weight.

Search at bodybuilding.com and/or muscleandstrength.com. I believe both have features where you can search b equipment and type of workout. You could just do Stronglifts with dumbbells, though, couldn't you?

The Stronglifts for women group on here recommends not to. Not sure I really know why.

This looks good, but as I'm used to Stronglifts, I was wondering why 8-12 reps, rather than a lower number. My understanding is that lower reps leads to a better increase in strength and higher reps is more for bulking.

Because the weights get too high too quickly for that to be feasible. I was a dead beginner when I started stronglifts and still it wasn't long until I was squatting and deadlifting over 100 pounds. While you can get adjustable dumbbells that go pretty high, the form also changes.

I would really love to do Stronglifts again, but going to the gym doesn't fit into my daily routine very well, and I don't feel confident doing the bench without a spotter so don't want to set it up at home. Dumbbells seem safer alone.

I ran this one for a while. I was using the Bowflex SelectTech adjustable weights. They went up to 50 lbs each, and they were (and still are) good for upper body but it wasn't long before I simply couldn't hold enough weight in each hand to keep making progress on lower body. You may have to modify the moves, I got away with split squats for a little while longer but eventually just had to join the gym.

Edit: JK, that workout I linked is a split. THIS ONE is a full body. It's the one I started with before changing it up and doing the split.
