For those who take measurements- where do/did you lose inches slowest? The fastest?

Hey there!
I started taking measurements at one point to give me another objective parameter to focus on as I lose weight. I wish I had taken them at my highest weight, but didn't think future me would care.
Anyway, I measure myself every 5-10 lbs lost or so, and it's kind of fun to see the numbers change. I'm so frustrated with my arms though! I have not lost any inches on my arms since I started measuring, but my trunk area (especially my waist) has been dropping inches like crazy, and everywhere else has lost at least a little bit.
I know you can't spot-reduce fat, and my arms are bound to give up some fat eventually, it's just frustrating with it being summer and wanting to be more comfortable in sleeveless things. Right now the shape is just awful- with my arm hanging straight, the forearms look good but the second you get above the elbow there's that bulging out of fat- know what I'm talking about? Can't wait for that to go away.
What about you? Where do/did you lose inches the fastest and slowest? Did that change as you lost weight?

Hmm, fastest was my waist as that's already the narrowest point and strengthening and tightening up my core made it reduce super fast. That's slowed now.
Slowest is my calves, I am a former gymnast and dancer, I have some sturdy calves so they are going down very slowly. And my thighs are taking their own sweet time too, again because that's somewhere I store more fat due to my hourglass shape. They are improving though.
Oh and my arms were sort of in the middle, then stalled. I took a diet and exercise break, then got sick and just started getting back to normal after a month off. Measured my arms today and they've suddenly shrunk without any input from me! So it can happen when you're not expecting it too, a sudden whoosh not linked immediately to diet or exercise but something of a hangover of the work I previously put in.1 -
I lost arms and chest area very fast initially, then they stopped. Everything else was really slow and fairly even.1

I lose and gain weight mostly in my hips and upper legs, but, opposite VintageFeline, when I do gain or lose fat, first to grow and last to shrink is my waist. So irritating.
I went from skinny to fit, legs got 3" bigger, hips got 2" bigger, but WAIST also got 1" bigger. Maybe it's muscle but it doesn't seem like it. The legs & arms are obviously muscle increases, it's like all the fat gain went right to the middle, and all the muscle gains went to legs, arms, b-u-t-t.1 -
It depends what you mean by fastest? You tend to lose more inches faster in the areas that are the largest. But smaller areas might look better faster because there is less to lose.0

I know this- I meant in proportion to everything else. For example, I have not lost as many inches on my thighs as I have the widest part of my hips (the biggest part of me) when strictly looking at numbers, but I have lost about the same percentage in both areas compared to when I first measured. My arms have lost nothing, so they're not going at the same rate as other areas of my body. I was just looking for personal accounts of at what rate people lost their inches in various parts of the body, just for fun. I know different areas of the body aren't exactly comparable in this manner. I hope that's clearer...0 -

This happened to me, too! Not real thrilled about it because numbers are numbers and they don't lie, but overall I'm still okay with how I look. Now if it creeps up anymore, then I'll have to do some serious evaluating!1 -
do bicep and tricep curls work with weights or at least pushups.0

I wish I measured more areas when I started. I only measured bust, waist, and hips.
Of those three - I lost the fastest in my bust (goodbye boobs) and lost the slowest in my hips (pear shaped).
I can measure my arms, neck, etc now but it's not an appropriate starting point.1 -

Pear shaped lady here. I lose from my bust and natural waist first. Hips and thighs are last to go. My arms have never been that large but I haven't lost anything from my upper arms yet. I have gone down about 2 inches in my bust and waist, an inch from my hips and nothing from my thighs.0

I lose weight quickly on my thighs (annoying as my legs are the skinniest part of me haha) and my arms. I reeeeeally want it to come off of my boobs though, they're far too big haha. It's always the last place it comes off for me.
I'm an apple shape so all my weight is held between my thighs and neck unfortunately.....0
