Raw veggies are the lowest for sure! Then fruit. But, you want "low" compared to what? Snacks can have as many cals as you want as long as it fits within your daily goal.

Like snack bars. And little seeded biscuits and also fruits. I always tend to go over my fat.

In summer I ate loads of raw carrot and celery (very low calories, and time consuming to eat - off the top of my head I think its 40 and 22 calories per 100g, respectively)

Now that its cold; teas, coffee and cocoa are my go to things. Herbal teas are nearly no calorie (I don't bother to log them) and I have some full fat milk in coffee or cocoa so they're about 70 cal for me.

And butterscotch lollies... all sugar, but small and flavourful and about 25cal each.

And popcorn, a big bowl (50g kernels and 1 tsp oil) is about 220cal, less if you havean air popper and don't need oil. I season mine with salt and cinnamon.

Protein fluff is a great low calorie snack.

It usually consists of protein powder, blended into a fluffy substance similar to marshmallow fluff. You can add fruit or cinnamon (to vanilla or chocolate) and it's INSANELY filling and pretty smooth. Bodybuilders use it for contest prep to keep calories ultra low during the final days of cutting. If you decide to make it, let me know what you think! I tried it recently and loved it.

Protein powder only makes you big if you do two things:

    1. Lift weight regularly, including lifting heavy. (Cant lift more than 10 reps)
    2. Eating an excess of calories (200+) of your BMR (How much your body burns with no exercise)

If you don't do both of those things, protein powder is mainly just a quick and easy snack that is also healthy.

Maybe I'll stay away from protein powder then lol. Maybe on a few occasions I could go over 200 calories. I want to get smaller

Just remember, the powder is low in calories and will curb your hunger for a few hours. It's 100% safe, most endurance athletes use it (as you can see, they aren't big at all) and it's easy to make. Any questions you have you can add me on here, shoot me a message, etc. I'm losing weight too. :star:

No, BMR is what you need to stay alive. Everyone needs more than 200 cals over BMR.
