    I am very active during the warm months and not very active during the cold months. Unfortunately I don't do well with adjusting my intake when I'm more sedentary. I joined this site in Autumn so my user name reflects my need to exercise in the months that I'm not active outside.

    I don't like my real name. It just sounds wrong when I say it, so most friends just call me my nickname, Coco.

    I wanted to change my name to Cocoa Puff, but that was taken. Coocoo Puff was not.

    My first name is Patti, and because I was constantly chewing peppermint gum as a kid, wore Birkenstocks year-round, and had a best friend who called me "sir," people started calling me Peppermint Patty after the "Peanuts" character. I just modified that nickname a little bit for MFP. :)
