Hi everyone, I had a question.
Can anyone recommend a good food scale to purchase? What has been your experience with the scale and do you find it to be accurate?

I purchased this one and haven't looked back. I love it! It can either plug in, or be battery operated, it fits a full-sized plate on it and you can still read the display, it has "zero out" capability and it measures in pounds, ounces, kilograms, or grams:

My taylor was about $12 on amazon and lasted me for about ten years (I accidentally popped the top off and thought I could glue it back - nope, it just started weighing all wonky after that).
I just bought a higher weight capacity ozeri on amazon for maybe $15. It's really nice!0 -
I purchased a digital from Target (Taylor brand). It was $9.98 and can switch back and forth between grams and ounces. It does the job and it's small enough to leave out on my counter.1

Love my Ozeri Pro, it's stylish like a sleek sports car. Around 10 bucks on Amazon.1

Hmm... Sounds like Ozeri might be the way to go0

I love my Oxo:

The two features I really like are that you can put a large bowl or plate on it and still see the display (because you can pull it out) and that it registers negative amounts so you can put a container of difficult to pour items like peanut butter or mayo on it, take some out and know exactly how much you used instead of having to weigh and measure those out.0 -
This is the scale I kept seeing on Amazon with high reviews, so I'm considering getting this one.I love my Oxo:

That's a pretty nice scale too. Do you feel like the display that you can pull out can break easily or does it seem very sturdy?0
