Hi Has anyone experienced this app automatically changing their daily calorie intake. I had mine set at 1000 calories and i have my fitbit sync.
All of a sudden one day I realized it changed to 1200 calories a day.

Has this happened to anyone else?

From what I understand, MFP won't set for anything below 1200 for women, 1500 for men. Those numbers are considered the lowest to maintain base nutrition.

1000 calories a day is extremely low. I don't think MFP will let you set it below 1200. And you might want it higher than that. What are your height, weight and goal weight, and how many pounds a week are you trying to lose?

Yep. MFP can not be set to lower than 1200 calories as it is considered dangerous. When you try to set it on the webpage it says why. Didn't realize the app didn't give you the same heads up.

I set my calories to 1050 and it hasn't changed back.

How long ago? Maybe the app didn't pick up on it yet.
