Water Walking

This week I started a water walking program..... you walk against the jets in a lazy river. Quite the work out and I love it. I cannot believe the places I am feeling it today. LOL

There is not a water walking option in the exercises. Anyone know of an accurate way to calculate the calorie burn? I thought about selecting water aerobics, but I didn't know if they'd be comparable.

(If you have somewhere to try this exercise, you'll be surprised!) :)

    I have been a water aerobics instructor for 9 years. In addition to water aerobics we walk against the current in the lazy river. You can log it as water jogging, that is what I do as we jog against it. Water aerobics & the pool is the absolute BEST workout. Keep up the good work!!!!

    I can't answer your question but that sounds like a fun workout to me! I wish I could try it sometime :)

    MapMyRide has this in their system water aerobics 1hr 489kCal - Water Running 1hr 977kCal dont know how accurate this may be..... but this sounds like fun.. keep it up
