    Try this! Home made Pico DE Gallo, beyond beef, black beans, low fat shredded mozzarella cheese, half and avocado, romaine lettuce and fresh spinach!

    My favorite lately is: spinach, shredded carrots, almonds, Feta, dried cranberries, shoestring beets, and Trader Joe's fat free balsamic vinegrette 25 cals for 2 Tablespoon (I only use 1).

    Because in watching my sugar intake and carbs intake I typically do something simple like line or lemon . Black pepper sea salt or olive oil and vinegar .. I'm Cuban so I miss some spice !!

    Add different veggies. I always am switching up the veg. Radish, cucumber, zuchini, broccoli, yellow zuchini, green pepper, tomato, cauliflower, beets, celery, broccoli slaw, carrots, green beans, etc.

    Sometimes I switch things up by roasting some of the veggies and topping the salad with roasted ones. (This is REALLY good). I especially like roasted riced cauliflower or broccoli/cauliflower or zucchini to put on top :)

    So many combinations I never get bored! I also add different spices to each salad. Onion/garlic/italian/mrs.dash varieties/etc.

    Lots of great tips here. But ultimately, salad sucks without dressing. Find a low cal you like or work your favorite into your daily calorie allowance
