Chocolate Covered Bacon Diet

Hey,
I've hit a plateau, and was thinking about trying out the Chocolate Covered Bacon Diet to see if that will bust me loose.
From what I've heard, you eat a half pound of bacon, covered in chocolate, just before each meal, and it boosts your metabolism, making your food have negative calories.
I've also heard of using Chocolate Covered Bacon drops (CCB Drops) in an alcoholic drink has the same effect.
Just curious if others on MFP have tried this, and wanted to find out their results and get some feedback.
Let me know. Thanks and Cheers!

sounds like a great idea to me - if you are looking for a heart attack... Just work through the plateau. How long has it been, a few weeks (judging by your mini goals)? Give your body time to adjust to your new metabolism uptick and make sure you are eating enough (good) calories per day.0

I lost 6 stone a few years ago on the chocolate bacon diet0 -
I have never heard of this and it does not sound like it is healthy to me or that it will even work...I mean what is the science of it?0

@Kirsty - please tell more. Did you eat the actual food or use the drops.
I was also wondering if Hersheys or Nestle was a better choice for the chocolate....

I'm actually doing this right now. In the past 2 weeks, I have lost 10lbs.0

UGH!! That sounds absolutely HORRIBLE!!!
I know that there are CRAZY so called diets out there, but this has got to be the best one EVER!! HEHE
Good luck with that one!!!!0 -
I love posts like that - they really tell you who has a sense of humor on this site!
Also, I've made chocolate covered bacon before - it's delicious. The perfect combination of salty and sweet. I bet Nutella covered bacon would be just as brilliant.

Do you think chocolate covered pepperoni pizza would work too?
(Not sure if the drops are available for this option.)0 -
Call me crazy, but this sounds amazing0

The inventor of this diet is also trying out the "Deep Fried Mayonaise Balls" diet and the "30 Second Abs" exercise program.0

awesome, lets load our body up with salt, fat, and sugar...I am sorry but even if it causes me to lose weight, I would never do this. You can lose weight on meth, but it doesn't mean it's healthy...0

As long as you don't get the homeopathic CCB Drops you should be fine. Research shows that the homeopathic drops don't even work as well as a placebo.0

I love bacon, but it swells my tummy up..too much salt. Sounds like an interesting combo, though.0
