Felling a bit discouraged...What are some of your tips or tricks when dealing with self image issues and trying to stay on track? I feel no matter how hard I try it's not good enough!

I make non scale goals. My main goal is to get to 135lbs but who knows when that will be. Instead I focus on the goals I can reach quicker.
I have goals for fitness: doing a full pushup with perfect form (only perfect on my knees currently), finishing You Are Your Own Gym weeks (starting Week 4 tonight), adding time to my cardio workouts (working on 60min on the stationary bike right now, at 45).
I also have clothing goals. Like going down a size, or wearing something I'd never wear before I lost weight. Going out in public wearing workout clothes was a big one for me. I'm very self-conscious.

I have banned myself from the scale and only weigh monthly. It seems to be what kicks me off track when I don't see a number change. I try to just stay active and enjoy each day

Try to remember this is a long term process. I have a problem with bingeing sometimes. I feel bad for slowing my progress but remember tomorrow is another day to try again. If you dwell on your set backs to becomes too easy to give up and go back to bad habits. Even if you reach your goal you will still need to adjust your calories to maintenance levels and keep tracking your calories. If you stop doing that you will fall back into bad habits after your reach your goal. Keep trying and good luck.

Don't look at your body as something that needs to be fixed, rather think of it as something that you can improve.
