Losing fat while building muscle (recomp)

Is it possible to burn fat and build muscle? At this point I've lost 120 pounds, and I could care less what the scale reads. I'm not happy with how I look. Any tips? I've downed my calories down to 2k. My diary is open, so please any tips or advice would be so helpful. Thank you all

Yes, recomps are possible. Follow a progressive lifting program and eat at maintenance (with enough fat and protein). Eventually you may need to do bulk/cut cycles to build bigger muscles, but at first just lifting really heavy things will do wonders for the way your body looks.0

There's also a two part blog post on recomposition here. Go to MFP's blog and search "recomposition" .0
