I got some frozen cod and thawed it. I spiced it up with montreal steak seasoning and cumin and coriander seeds all crushed in a mortar/pestle. Lightly fried both side in 1tb olive oil. IT WAS DELICIOUS!

That sounds so delicious. I had some lightly breaded sole tonight and it didn't have the flavour I wanted it to have. it was already prepared in the frozen aisle. I will try the cod as you prepared it...thanks!

How long did you fry each side? And then it was done? I'm so bad with fish I usually cook it to death because I don't know when it's done. They always say when it flakes with a fork, but sometimes it NEVER flakes and some times it flakes raw!:grumble:

I would say no more than 7-10 mins each side. When there was no light colour left.
