Because the weight loss claim is bogus. I am not looking to increase my endurance. I am not looking to tire myself out when i could be doing more effective exercise. etc. I can go on...

I was more-so asking why this is special and needs to be tried.

I like how they mention nothing about calorie intake. As if you magically lose weight through exercise alone.

Is this the routine you follow? If so, glad that it works for you, but I refuse to do crunches, planks are more effective but it takes more than ONE. Also, I prefer much more volume for my squats and lunges while holding heavy weights.

I mean, this routine would suffice if I was traveling and stuck in a hotel room with no gym. For one day. Body weight exercises can be effective but this is certainly not a long-term plan. Nor can it promise ANY lost pounds.

Sorry, OP. Just saying this looks like one of those Pintrest workouts.

Because it makes your cap slide forward?
    :)

More seriously I have an aversion to ridiculous tag lines of "drop 10lbs in just 2 weeks". That just destroys any credibility that a workout might have.

Well, I'd omit the 100 crunches and it would be a good warm-up anyway!

Not really...I see this as a warm up. Or morning calisthenics at summer camp.

To lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks you'd have to be at a daily caloric deficit of 2500 calories. That's literally starving yourself to the point of an eating disorder. No thanks. I'm happy with my 1lb a week for 12 weeks while not ended up in the hospital. I do my standard strength and hypertrophy lifting with zero cardio and still lose weight eating at 2600 calories a day. So I'm more than happy with my current system.

Dang, such harshness! Exercise is exercise and if this motivates one single person to commit to getting fit then who cares??

@haney1722 Accurate information is important. Given the amount of misinformation, overblown articles, and outlandish promises that the average person is exposed to daily by the diet industry, arming them with good information so that they can make their own decisions and know how to change course when things don't work out is important. The OP promises you'll drop 10 pounds in 2 weeks if you just try this one program. That's not only ridiculous and inaccurate, but it's also an unhealthy rate of loss for many people to shoot for.
