So I've finally meal prepped. Just have to start some low impact online videos soon. I plan on doing this in the mornings. I have to do my tape measures. Does anyone know a good app to keep track of body measurements? I may just write them down manually.

What do you think about in the mornings to get out of bed to exercise?

You can track your measurements here on MFP.

I'm afraid I'm no use on morning workouts. Never could convince myself to getup, so I worked them in after work instead.

@diannethegeek im not sure where to put body measurements on this app.

I've gone to the gym before in the morning and it does wonders for my day. Gives me a whole boost of energy and positivity. I'm only considering the morning because I want to use pre workout or supplements with caffeine and don't want to mess with my sleep at night if I take them post-work.

Awesome! Meal prepping is so helpful! I recommend Fitness Blender and Blogilates for some good low impact videos.
I LOVE morning workouts. I tried afternoon and evening workouts before, and while they weren't the worst, I didn't like it. Also, I like to get my formal exercise done early so that I can spend time doing other things during the day, when the rest of the world wakes up.
On days I schedule some cardio, I jump right into it after I get ready, and after I maybe have a small snack or two depending on how I feel. For strength, however, I don't start until about an hour after I wake up and have had at least a small breakfast. Why the difference? For cardio, I currently have goals to just move and have fun and get my heart beating, and dancing, brisk walking, etc. don't require too much focus. On the other hand, my performance suffers for strength training if I don't give it my full attention.

@neldabg i hadn't thought about that, if you don't give your body time to wake up you can't focus on strength training. Makes sense. Most of the time I did morning I did cardio or fasted cardio. Thanks for the info.

I think it's under Progress. And then where it says "weight" you can use the drop-down menu to choose other measurements.

@diannethegeek thanks so much. I see it now. Just wish there was more than just neck, waist and hips
