    2 cups coffee black
1 slice double fiber wheat toast
    1/2 c. Egg Beaters
    2TBS Salsa
    2 strips of Turkey Bacon

(I usually save my egg meal for lunch but daughter decided she didn't want her bacon this morning so had it for breakfast instead)

2 slices of rye toast (whole grain)
2 eggs made with nonstick spray
    1 slice reduced fat cheese
2 slices 97% FF ham (cheaper than canadian bacon!)

I'm having trouble fitting in my exercise calories, so I'm trying to eat more earlier in the day rather than eating more at night - I had some PB last night and I was belching it the rest of the night!

OHHH.. I had a yummy but very bad for you breakfast.

It's my husband's fault. He fixed egg white pancakes, bacon and pork sausage links. So I had a grand total of 581 calories for breakfast!!! But it's okay. I'm already planning the rest of my day around it. I still have over 600 calories left and I haven't even worked out yet. Sooo I should have 1,000 calories left to work with.. I feel yucky after eating all of that this early though.

This may sound silly, but what is flax and how does it taste, how do you prepare it?

I put flax in my smoothies. And in my homemade granola.

You can buy ground flax or flax seed at the local market. The ground fax comes in a large box, there is a lot in there. At walmart it was over by the flour and stuff in a brown box. Your suppose to keep it in the fridge and not expose it to air. It is really good for you and has loads of fiber in 2 tablespoons ( i think). It has a nutty flavor. I put mine in cereal all the time and i usually can't taste it. Many put it in yogurt, or smoothies. You can even substitute some of your flour for it I believe. It has recipes on the box. You should look it up.

"Benefits of flax seed as shown in many studies include lowering total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol (the Bad cholesterol) levels. Other benefits show that flax seed may also help lower blood triglyceride and blood pressure. It may also keep platelets from becoming sticky therefore reducing the risk of a heart attack."

You can go here for more on that article http://www.healthcastle.com/flax.shtml
