Hi everyone, I am used to doing most things in my life by myself. Things like altering my diet, working out, problem solving. I work in the environment of serving others and because of that it often feels that others trust that I have the answers to anything and shouldn't need to ask for help from anyone - or maybe that is just my perception. However, I would love to have friends who are also modifying their lifestyle to become healthier and look forward to connecting. Friends I can also get advice, and support from as I also offer my support to you. Looking forward to connecting.

Hi there!! I know from past failure that it's so much easier to be successful when you have someone by your side. Be it physically right there next to you or on MFP cheering you on!! :-)

Hi Sharyn... I usually tackle tasks alone as well - I too am reaching out and looking for community support. I'm all for "attagurl" 's and being held accountable. When I binge, I bow & hide out; when stresses get tougher, I runaway (and binge some more). My goal is to exercise daily, embrace portion control, track calories (keeping them under 1800) - - with intent of losing weight. permanently. but specifically to lose 30 pounds by October 1. Scientifically, it's realistic and doable. I just need to be accountable and keep these goals in my face daily; several times daily.

I'm sending you a friend request. This is definitely easier to do with support and encouragement of others!
