Does uping your calorie numbers make a difference in losing weight or downing your calories.

You need to put a bit more effort into framing a coherent question.2 -
Yes, changing the amount of calories you eat changes the amount you lose. Also putting different amounts of water in a tub changes how full it is.1

You have been on this site asking questions for 4 months. For 4 months we've been telling you that the number of calories you eat directly affects the amount of weight you lose. Calories govern whether or not you lose weight. Change your calories and you change your rate of loss. I don't know why this is a surprise to you at this point.4

At a constant daily intake of the same number of calories in a calorie deficit from a starting weight of X, you lose weight. In the first few weeks, you lose weight and think you lose weight at a constant rate. Not so. As you lose weight, you lose fat and muscle. Your TDEE declines. You calorie deficit becomes smaller and you may eventually achieve enough weight loss that your constant number of calorie intake becomes your maintenance calories, which is your TDEE, and you stop losing weight. The thing that controls how fast you are losing is partly the calories you put in, but also your changing body's response to the food you put in it. Chart your progress if you want, but you'll drive yourself nuts trying to predict your daily weight change based on your calorie input alone.0
